How about a cute PRIMITIVE ANNIE monthly calendar....

I was working on a few calendars for family and friends and thought I would share a couple. Because the cost of ink is "so" costly, I decided to remove the background I initially had. This calendar will take 6 sheets of cardstock. I incorporated two months on each page. You will have a place to jot down appointments and other important dates.

You should be able to right click on each page and then click "save as" and you are good to go. I hope that you enjoy my shares!

Looking for a cute ADD-ON gift...How about this RAGGEDY ANNIE CALENDAR!

It is getting close to Christmas. I have a cute little Prim Christmas Tree. I added little prim Annie tags all over the tree. It is kind of like a Charlie Brown tree! What I like about it are the fiber optic lights. It is so pretty when the lights are on! I will try and post a picture soon. I am old school which means I have a camera that comes with film and must be developed! Maybe Santa will bring me a digital camera...who knows.

If you left click and wait for a new page to open, then click on "save as" hopefully this will allow you to enjoy this calendar. I have had trouble using the site, 4shared. Let's try it this way and see what happens. The graphics are from Trina Clark's site...aren't they just the cutest litle Annies!!! Enjoy!

Well here it is already December 8, yikes time really does fly when you are having fun! I want to share what started out as the mint matchbook. I will also list a cute vintage set a little later. ENJOY!

IT is my BIRTHDAY tomorrow, November 30

Well there I am less than a minute old and tomorrow I will celebrate number 62! At a time when the delivery room was free from video cameras, husbands and family, my mommy's doctor said to the nurse, "Oh my gosh, someone go get a camera, this baby is beautiful..." According to the nurses and staff that was unheard of to have a doctor ask for a camera, but as the fifth day of my mom's stay was about to come to a close, she began to wonder if she had been dreaming of what happened five days before. BUT no, as she was being discharged from Balboa Hospital, the nurse handed her an envelope with photos of my birth certainly something that most new mothers did not have in 1946!

Today is a very HISTORIC election....

I have been energized since Iowa when Barack Obama won the Iowa Caucus and now we are here just hours away until a new president is announced. As most know, I voted for Barack Obama a couple weeks ago by absentee ballot. I believe that he shows leadership skills, steady under pressure, steadfast and strong. He has the ability to take us in a new direction with hope of changing the last eight years. His cabinet will be both men and women who will help lead our country on a path of HOPE and change. No matter the outcome, with a women running for Vice-President and an African American running for the highest office in the country this is truly an historic election. I am reminded of another election when my sister and I campaigned for George McGovern in 1972. We were fully engaged in his campaign. This is the year for change and I am hopeful that Senator Obama will be the next president of the United States... I hope that you voted. Please snag these Americana tags as my gift on this day. You will have to click on the link, as I re-sized the tags to display in this post...Please enjoy! Click on the green arrow under the tags and that will bring you to the download page. YOU MAY HAVE TO COPY AND PASTE THE DOWNLOAD ADDRESS INTO YOUR BROWSER. Not sure why, but it will work that way...

My cute little Kitty Cat has been missing....

Things have not been the same here in the Cienega since my cat did not return home two weeks ago. He came to live with us three years ago...just wandered onto our place and into our hearts that IS FOR SURE! No matter how much I tried to keep him on the porch or inside, he is an outdoor cat and he thought the grass was greener on the other side of the fence! We have a 1/2 acre you would think that would be enough for a cat...but no he liked to roam around and see what he was missing!!! He was so funny because in the evenings he would actually walk with us like a dog (we called him our dog cat). After eating and sleeping all day, he was full of energy and loved to play and joined us for our nightly walks. Totally cracked me up!! This is a long time for him to be gone and I miss him so much.
If you see my little kitty, please send him back to me!!! He brought joy and laughter to our family.

The Name "Tag You're It"

I have been creating digital scrapbooking tags for the past three years and thought the name suited me. My tags have gone to England, Australia, Italy and Norway by way of this wonderful invention...the internet! I have made friends all over and now I want to share some of my tags and other printables with you. You will get a chance to see some of the many vintage and primitive hang tags that I do. I also have my entire 2008 prim and vintage collection on CD for only $9.99. I will post sample pictures of what is on this CD later this week.

Before and After photo

Anyone who knew me before August 2005 would swear that I would never ever live in the country. I would have agreed big time a city girl to the end. Well the end was 2005. Here is a photo of our land before it was cleared and after. I fell in love with this area not knowing how it would look cleared. Something drew me here. I call the Cienega Redonda my heaven on earth!

Raggedy Annie Tea Envelopes a freebie

She asked me to create something for her quilting class friends. Add some apple cinnamon tea packets for a fall feel and you have a nice little gift for your friends. Please feel free to download this freebie. The graphics are from Stonegate Graphics.
